Tamil:

சாந்தா காரம் பூஜக சயனம் பத்பநாபம் ஸுரஸேம்
விஷ்வாதாரம் ககனஸத்ருசம் மேகவர்ணம் சுபாங்கம்
லக்ஷ்மீகாந்தம் கமலா நயனம் யோகி ஹ்ரித் யாநனகம்யம்
வந்தே விஷ்ணும் பவபயஹரம் சர்வ லோகைக நாதம் !!!

English:

Shaantha Karam Bhujaga Sanayam Padmanabham suresham

Vishvadharam Gagana sadrusam mega varnam shubhangam

lakshmi kaantham kamala nayanam yogi-hrithyana-kamyam

vande vishnum bhavabaya haram sarva lokaika natham

 

Meaning:

Who has serene appearance (peaceful to look at); 

who lies on the Serpent Adhishesha; 

from whose navel comes out the lotus (creation - Brahma);

who presides over the devas; who is boundless like sky; 

with the skin color of the clouds (with a bluish tint);

who has a splendid body and aura;

Husband of Devi Lakshmi - with eyes beautiful like a lotus petal; 

who can be attained only by meditation;

I worship you Lord Vishnu who is the Lord of all Universe; 

I worship the one who removes the fear of worldly existence.
